The Elder Pinot Winemakers Dinner

Noble Rot Wine Bar, along with The Elder Pinot, invite you to join us for dinner and conversation. Five courses, specially matched with five different wines from The Elder Pinot.

The Elder Pinot vines are situated on the old river terraces of the Ruakokapatuna River. Over-looking Martinborough’s Te Muna Valley, it is a truly amazing site with a unique terroir and stunning views.

The vineyard was established by Mike and Margaret Hanson in 1996, and the fruit was initially contracted to Martinborough Vineyard. Nigel Elder, who was then the viticulturist for Martinborough Vineyard, loved the vineyard so much he created ‘The Elder Pinot’ wines with the Hansons and they released their first vintage in 2010. The wine is made by respected winemaker Paul Mason of Martinborough Vineyard and we think they are fantastic!
